Thanksgiving dinner can be a fraught experience, even in the best of times. And these...ain't that. As Covid restrictions curtail travel, more of us will be sticking around for the holidays; some hyper-organized restaurants have begun formalizing their turkey-related offerings. Few chefs match Eric Rivera for hustle, so it's no surprise his virtual restaurant and pantry already has a full a la carte Thanksgiving situation that ranges from prime rib to spatchcocked turkeys to sides and candied apple ice cream. Bainbridge Island’s destination-worthy Vietnamese restaurant offers a remixed version of your classic Thanksgiving feast, including roasted duck, Szechuan jalapeño sausage, and honey walnut prawn toast. Bluwater Leschi

Hearth at the Heathman

Chefs Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi present butternut squash with red curry, farro fried rice, and a figgy pudding mochi cake among other fall classics with a twist of Asian flavor. Pre-order this unique Thanksgiving meal by Monday, November 23 for pickup on Wednesday. Wallingford

Local Tide

Seafood is apparently the wave for this year's alternative Thanksgiving: the Fremont joint known for its limited quantity crab rolls now offers crab cake kits, complete with everything but the eggs, for pickup the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. McMenamins Tavern on the Square and the Woodshop

This family-owned Pacific Northwest pub and hospitality chain wants to make sure you’ve got options next week: dine outside on the patio or take out a hearty, traditional Thanksgiving meal, complete with turkey, Caesar salad, pumpkin pie, and more from the Anderson School Hotel's restaurants. Order a spread for four or six by noon November 23. Bothell

West Seattle Islanders can ditch the bird altogether with braised lamb shank from this Lebanese mainstay; though the protein skews Mediterranean, the meal for two feels classically festive with kale salad, roasted fingerling potatoes, and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Drop by the market tavern for a smoky Thanksgiving main, if you’ve got room for a 20-lb pine and applewood turkey complete with herbs and butter for basting at home.
