Pinky's Kitchen continues its ever ambitious rollout with something this condiment crazy city will surely appreciate: a line of barbecue sauces.
Only recently did the Wallingford street staple begin bottling the homemade dressing, and (very proud) co-owner Andrew Bray plans to do so permanently. "My own blood, sweat, and tears went into it," he says of the sauce.
Currently just the original flavor is available but coming soon--Bray estimates by the 24th--are two more varieties: Sweet Sassy Molassey and Pinky's Hott. One 12 ounce bottle retails for $7; purchase a pair and it's $12.
And fellow barbecue houses, take heed: "I am ready to sell it in five-gallon buckets to pubs and restaurants interested in supporting local products." Dude is on a mission.
