Tavolàta and Rubinstein Bagels Head to Downtown Redmond

Sorry, you can't actually get these two delicacies in the same space. But the new Tavolàta and Rubinstein Bagels locations will be side by side, overlooking Redmond's Downtown Park.
Two Seattle establishments known for their gluten-rich delicacies will set up shop in downtown Redmond. Ethan Stowell’s Tavolàta and Rubinstein Bagels—an impressive newcomer in Seattle’s burgeoning bagel scene—will open adjacent locations on the ground floor of the new mixed-use Porch and Park building across from Downtown Park.
Like the original in Belltown (and four subsequent locations from Stone Way to Spokane), the fifth Tavolàta will dish out cocktails and pasta bowls. The signature communal table will center the dining room, and a patio will overlook the park.
The Redmond location will be Rubinstein’s third brick-and-mortar venture, and the first on the Eastside. Owner Andrew Rubinstein’s menu will cover the daytime, slinging breakfast sandwiches (think open-faced lox, chorizo and egg, or egg and avocado) for morning commutes and laid-back lunches. Tavolàta will handle happy hour and the dinner rush (like its neighbor, Rubinstein will have a park-facing patio).
The two new locations hope to open in December.
