Get thee to Pike/Pine to grab a few final tacos before uncertainty sets in.

Count Little Neon Taco, Monica Dimas’s tiny and charming taqueria on First Hill, among the wrenching list of restaurants felled by the pandemic. Dimas announced over the weekend she has closed the space on Boren. However, all is not lost on the taco front.

Little Neon Taco is relocating its burritos and Mexico City–style tacos to La Dive, the excellent wine bar on Pike Street, starting March 11. The full takeout menu will be happening here in popup form, she says, plus wine pairings. Right now things will run at least through March 27, though like just about every other aspect of our current existence, what happens after that is unclear.

La Dive has halted its own food program (chef David Gurewitz and his singular menu will return when indoor dining resumes) and embraced retail for the interim, which means Dimas can put the kitchen to good use. But co-owner Kate Opatz says the crowd favorite frozen pizza still stick around. Little Neon's menu will be in effect Thursday through Saturday; keep an eye on its social for more details as Dimas sorts out what's to come.
