Bitches Brew: Miles Davis and Dogfish Head Beer Tasting
Miles Davis' album name from 1970 was waiting for a dedicated beer event, and The Barrel Thief has willingly taken on this responsibility tonight from 6–9pm. Dogfish Head Brewery will be at the wine and whiskey bar to change up the theme of libations serving Dogfish Head's Bitches Brew imperial stout and offer a tasting flight of assorted beers from the brewery.

Sat, January 30
Belgian Fest
This year, the festival that honors only Belgian-style beers will be held at a new venue–the Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center. Buy tickets now for $35 before they go up to $40 at the door for either session one from 12–4pm or two from 5:30–9:30pm. Once inside, fill your 4oz tasting glass with 10 different tripels, dubbels, and saisons and to complement, grab grub from Bread and Circuses Food truck or Wood Shop BBQ Food Truck.

Sun, January 31
Pike Chocofest
Pike Brewing Company moves beyond beer with the pre-Valentine's Day festival dedicated to the amorous day's treat. From 6–9pm sample food and drinks from 65 purveyors of cheese, wine, beer, and baked goods (most influenced by chocolate) all while benefitting Puget Soundkeeper to protect and preserve Puget Sound.

Sun, January 31
Speed Rack
Women behind the bar get some serious attention at the national female bartending charity competition, which supports breast cancer awareness. The Seattle regional event will be held at Neumos from 3–7pm as two competitors from neighboring Pike Street bar Rumba will pour it out to see who will continue on to the national competition held in New York City.

Tue, February 2
