Le Petit Cochon Offal Dinner
Derek Ronspies' Fremont restaurant is teaming up with Olsen Farms for its next quarterly offal dinner on Wednesday at 7pm. The five-course dinner will feature many oft-neglected cuts of meats in dishes such as bone marrow with oxtail ragout and horseradish dill tater tots, scallops with blood sausage croutons, and carrot cheesecake with lardo frosting. Tickets are $79 and there will be an optional $35 libation pairing on the night. To book a spot call 206-829-8943.

Fabulous Feast on Capitol Hill
Restaurants and bars on Capitol Hill are coming together under one roof for one night only this Thursday to raise money for Capitol Hill Housing. Omnivorous will feature food and drink from restaurants and bars such as Altura, Poppy, Sun Liquor, Terra Plata, and Mamnoon. A $85 ticket will get you unlimited small plates, wines, and cocktails on the night. The event, which kicks off at 5:30pm, will also include a brief discussion about the work of Capitol Hill Housing.

Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival
The Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival comes to Seattle Design Center this weekend to showcase locally made artisan and farmstead cheeses. More than 20 local cheesemakers are expected to attend including Beecher's Handmade Cheese, Kurtwood Farm, and Heyday Farm. There will also be beer, wine, and food served on the day. Advance tickets are $35 ($40 at the door) and includes all cheese samples and three drink tickets.

Cafe Lago Celebrates 25 Years
To celebrate 25 years in business, the Montlake restaurant is hosting a five-course dinner with Salumi's cofounder Armandino Batali. The $175-per person dinner includes traditional Italian style dishes such as a light chicory salad, roast beef and marrow, and a tiramisu.
Back-to-School Baking Lessons at Canal Market
The Portage Bay Cafe is hosting baking lessons for parents and children on Sunday at 4pm. Each parent and child will learn how to make two kinds of muffins using fall ingredients. It is $35 for a parent and child and to book a place contact 206-328-3155.

Feast at the Market
Pike Place Market's annual fall dinner is back for its 32nd year on Tuesday, October 6. The self-guided tour through the market allows you to sample local purveyors and restaurants such as Cafe Campagne, Matt's in the Market, and Il Bistro at your leisure. General tickets are $85 and proceeds will go toward Neighborcare Health at Pike Market Clinic.
