Rosé for a Fleeting Season

Renegade Wine Co.’s Columbia Valley Rosé is spring’s clarion call.

Spring means rosé, and the 2014 offering from Renegade Wine Co., a side project from Trey Busch at Sleight of Hand Cellars, is a clarion call for the season.

The wine—a blend of syrah, cinsault, grenache, counoise, and -mourvèdre—is a pretty pale-pink hue with aromas and flavors of watermelon and cherry, drinking just a shade off dry. Stock up because, like spring in Seattle, it’s not around for long.
