Starbucks’ new Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room on Pike Street doesn’t serve green tea Frappuccinos or caramel macchiatos. Here the espresso shots are smoother, coffee roasting is theater, and the company hopes to woo ultradiscerning coffee drinkers who wouldn’t be caught dead in a mass-market coffee joint.
