You GUYS: Il Corvo Is Now Serving Dinner

So that's what this place looks like after the sun goes down. Photo via Il Corvo.
Il Corvo owner Mike Easton has built one hell of a following via his bowls of weekday-only lunchtime pasta. Now he has announced that Il Corvo will serve dinner twice a month, on Saturday night. Even more exciting: Miles James of the dearly departed Dot's will collaborate on the menu.
Dinner comes in the form of a four-course set menu for $60 (that doesn't include tax or tip), with wines selected and poured by Il Corvo's own Karel Cipra.
Easton and James have been friends since their days working together at Lecosho. Easton says they were "looking for an excuse to do some projects together," like their recent New Year's Eve dinner, and a twice-monthly evening service seemed like a manageable adventure that didn't overwhelm their schedules.
As Easton noted in his email announcement, most of Il Corvo's tables are four tops, so come as a party of two and you'll likely be sharing your table with another couple. But if these people like Il Corvo, how bad could they be, right?
The first three dinners are January 24, Feburary 14, and February 28. But Easton already has a voice mailbox full of reservation requests, and these dates are likely to be full before lunchtime. Not to worry, he promises there will be plenty of upcoming dinners; following Il Corvo's blog is the best way to stay apprised of future dates. To make reservations, call Il Corvo at 206-538-0999 and leave a message. To make things even more fun, the mailbox only holds 30 messages at a time.
