FRIDAY, September 6

Cider Summit Seattle
Trust us when we say that cider is the next big thing
, considering the onslaught of cideries popping up around the Northwest lately. This annual two-day event offers a rare opportunity to sample more than 80 ciders from Washington, Oregon, British Columbia, California, Michigan, England, France, and Spain. Organizers say this might be the largest number of ciders ever offered at a festival in the U.S.—or perhaps anywhere. Tickets are $25 in advance ($30 cash at the gate) and benefit the Northwest Cider Association and the Institute of Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research

SATURDAY, September 7

Night Market and Autumn Moon Festival
The streets of the International District will become a giant party for one night only, with more than 30 vintage and urban craft vendors, live cultural performances, and the neighborhood's first Mobile Food Rodeo. Come hungry for $5 Asian-themed food bites and unique dishes from each food truck. Festivities start at 6 at Union Station Plaza and 5th Ave S.

Cheeses of France Popup
So apparently there is a “Cheeses of France Marketing Council” (who knew?) and it's throwing together its first-ever cheese popup cafe in Seattle at the Piranha Shop. Get exclusive access to French cheese companies, buy cheese at wholesale prices, watch chef demos, and of course, sip on wine—because what’s a cheese party without the wine? And best of all, entrance is free.

Harvest Fair
Like it or not, it’s time to start getting in a fall state of mind. Seattle Tilth is kicking off the autumnal festivities with a Harvest Fair at Meridian Park. Bring the whole family for a day of workshops and activities, food vendors, live music, cider pressings, cooking demos, and tons more.

Rosé on the Roof
Yep, this is gonna be just as cool as it sounds. Sip rosé and nibble tapas on the roof of Purple Seattleall as you cling to the final days of these sorts of summer happenings. Call 206-838-3853 for your $45 ticket.

SUNDAY, September 8

Sunday Feast at Tavolàta
Tavolàta chef Brian Clevenger is planning on centering this month's Sunday Feast around local salmon in four different preparations alongside summer produce. Expect a menu with savory items like whole smoked sockeye salmon with fennel and lemon, and panna cotta with blackberry, cinnamon, and basil. Call 206-838-8008 to claim your $65 ticket.
