Asgard Tavern
Odin Brewing's new tasting room is now open for business, according to Washington Beer Blog. Asgard Tavern is serving up seasonal brews, special casks, Odin Brewing’s own beer, and periodic food pairings. The tavern is located at 1300 N Northlake Way, near Gas Works Park.

American Pie: Wallingford
The Georgetown-based pie bakery extended to a second location in Wallingford last weekend, Wallyhood says. American Pie in Wallingford is located on the front steps of Wallingford Center at 1815 N 45th St.

Sound Coffee and Morsel
Well, technically it's been open for a little while, but a former employee of the delightful Nook biscuit shop bought the U District space and has reincarnated it as a biscuit destination. With shorter lines.

Melrose Market–esque Building
A Capitol Hill warehouse is slated to become an open space of restaurant and bars. Puget Sound Business Journal reports Alex Rosenast and Jerry Everard are modeling the space after Melrose Market, with two-thirds of the Seneca Street space being dedicated to (yet undetermined) restaurants and bars and the remainder set aside for retail.

Total Wine and More
Another big-box liquor store is planting a flag within Seattle city limits. Total Wine and More is planning to open its eighth Washington state location in Interbay at 1550 W Armory Way, behind the Whole Foods on 15th Avenue. Expect to see a selection of more than 1,500 Washington wines, 80 distilled spirits from around the Northwest, and 550 beers from the region,

Olaf's
Eater Seattle has word that a new restaurant will soon take over the space that formerly housed the Copper Gate. Olaf's will serve up "delicious neighborhood bar grub" until about 11 and simpler snacks later in the night, but sans the giant ship in the middle of the room.

REVAMPS

Noc Noc: Elysian and Cherry Street Coffee
The Columbia Building near Second Ave. and Pike houses the club Noc Noc. The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that real estate company Urban Visions bought the building and plans to revamp it, replacing Noc Noc with a Cherry Street Coffee House as well as a new Elysian brewpub location with outdoor seating.

The Stepping Stone
Darren Miller, a longtime bartender at the dearly departed Viking, recently bought a bar down the street, according to Eater Seattle. He and his wife hope to transplant some of the Vike's (admittedly irreplaceable) divey appeal to the Stepping Stone at 59th and 24th. And bring along some good sandwiches. Cross your fingers for an August open.

La Boucherie
Vashon Island's farm-to-table restaurant is no longer really a restaurant, but still serving special dinners once or twice a month, according to La Boucherie's owner George Page. Althought the restaurant ceased regular business in March, Page is taking reservations face-to-face at either the University District Farmers Market on Saturdays or the Ballard Farmers Market on Sundays.

Chandler's Crabhouse
The South Lake Union seafood restaurant is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of 25-cent happy hours between now and the end of the year. Each happy hour will happen at random and will be announced on the restaurant's Facebook page.

SHIFT CHANGES

Capitol Cider: Nicholas Short
A month after its doors officially opened, Capitol Cider is replacing head chef Jordan Sinclair with former Smith and Brave Horse chef Nicholas Short, according to CHS. Short will ramp up the vegetarian/vegan and sustainable meat options on the new menu, which will be available no later than July 24.
