Chandler's Crabhouse Is Doing a 25-Cent Happy Hour

But the exact times are still a secret.

Expect a crowd. Quarterless Chandler's photo via its Facebook page.

We get a lot of emails around here about restaurant deals, birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, tweetups, social media dealies, specials, and the like. But this one is likely to cause a ruckus.

Viewriffic South Lake Union stalwart Chandler’s Crabhouse is celebrating its anniversary with a series of 25-cent happy hours between now and the end of the year. There will be 25 of them, to be exact, and they’ll be announced at random on the restaurant’s Facebook page. Yes, this is totally a ploy to connect via social media, but like the page, show it to a server during a specified happy hour time, and you’ll unlock a menu of anniversary pricing—$0.25 Dungeness crab and artichoke dip, a salmon hand roll, ahi tartare, ceviche, etc. Oysters on the half shell will be $1.25 apiece and there are wine and beer specials for $2.25 and $1.25 respectively.

One of each of the 25-cent apps per person, guys. I’m envisioning a mad stampede from Amazonia over to the Chandler’s patio when a happy hour gets called. The restaurant is planning various drawings and such for people who attend these.

More intel to follow tomorrow, according to Facebook. For the record, these special happy hours will occur in addition to Chandler’s regularly scheduled HH.
