Beveridge Place Pub: Pike Brewing Morning After Pale Release (April 16)
Seattle Women in Beer speerheaded this hoppy, sessionable brew. Throughout the evening, a dollar from each pint will go to Planned Parenthood. All this happens again Wednesday night at the Pine Box, and Thursday from 5 to 7 at Brouwer's.

The Burgundian: Finn River Cider Night (April 17)
The folks from Finn River are trucking their (excellent) wares in from Chimacum. Read this, meet the family behind the cider, and sample the habanero, Fire Barrel, black currant, sparkling pear, and dry-hopped styles...starting at 6pm.


Delicatus: Wednesday Wine Tasting (April 17)
The sandwich shop has been building a lovely wine presence of late (the owners have their own winemaking project, Sous Sol) and this month's weekly wine tastings (5 to 7pm) focus on value wines. Tasting through the wines is free, though they're available for purchase by glass or bottle, complete with 10 percent case discount. Fortify yourself with sandwiches and a new evening food meny by chef Aaron Willis.

Wine World: Local Thursday
This weekly study in Washington wines focuses on Soos Creek Wine Cellars, a Kent-based winery known for totally overdelivering given the price. Just drop on by, 6 to 8.


Sun Liquor: Cocktail Class (April 21)
Distiller and house spirits guru Erik Chapman shows you how to make spring-appropriate shrubs, bitters, and syrups. Also: tastings and snacks. Class runs 2 to 4 and $60.
