 WEDNESDAY August 15

The Latona Pub 25th Anniversary Week
In celebration of its 25th birthday, Latona Pub is hosting a weeklong extravaganza with special brewers nights and events. Although the hoopla began on Monday, tonight features Georgetown Brewing's first tapping at the Greenlake intitution. The festivities conclude with an anniversary party on Saturday beginning at 5.

THURSDAY August 16

Picnic and Barrel Auction at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery
This event, part of the Auction of Washington Wine festivities, does not actually require you to pack your own picnic. The $150 admission gets you a gourmet meal prepared by Tulalip Resort Casino's team of chefs, served on the beautiful grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle winery, and accented by (seemingly) endless tastings of some of Washington state's finest wines. The picnic starts at 4.

FRIDAY August 17

Sunset Supper at the Market
This evening of Northwest cuisine, dancing, live music and raffle prizes is more than just an opportunity to hang out in the venerable Pike Place Market afterhours, it's also a fundraiser with all proceeds going to Pike Market's charitable endeavors including its medical clinic and food bank. General admission costs $100 and starts at 5.

SATURDAY August 18

Linda's Fest

This event is essentially a rowdy shindig littered with communal loud noise and live music that takes place in the back parking lot of Linda's Tavern. Beyond the food and drink specials, blues prodigy Reignwolf will be performing, which pretty much guarantees a hootin', hollerin', helluva good time. The party starts at 6 and goes until 10, or whenever you want to leave.

Northwest Tequila Fest
The Phinney Neighborhood Center hosts this booze-fueled bonanza from 1-7. The $40 admission gets you access to more tequila, mezcal and sotol than any human liver can handle.

Fremont Invitational
This is reportedly Seattle’s first-ever Pub Putt Tournament, which means nine creative holes at nine different Fremont bars, drink and food specials all culminate in an after party at the ninth hole at The Dock. It costs $35 per player to register and check in runs from 11-3.

BEYOND

August 27 Volunteer Park Café chef Ericka Burke and cookbook author, gardener, and Check, Please! host Amy Pennington combine forces to prepare a meal from the produce grown in the café’s backyard garden (tended by Pennington). The $65 evening begins at 6 with a tour of the garden.

September  4 Chef and Cicerone Rich Coffey launches the first of his Estaminet beer-focused pop-up dinners at Skelly and the Bean. This one features beers from Schooner Exact, and a September 24 dinner pairs dishes with beers from tiny Lantern Brewing. Tickets are $45.

September 12 "Cooking with Class" at Salty's on Alki  is a unique opportunity to gain hands on cooking experience with three local chefs of your choice. The cost is $125 and check-in begins at 6.

October 2 Snag a seat at this hands-on course at Pantry at Delancey and be guided through preparations of farm-to-table dishes by Pantry co-founder Olaiya Land. And then...you get to eat it all! The class costs $125 and all the proceeds go to benefit the Queen Anne Farmers Market.
