For several weeks now Skillet has been parking on Fridays at the newly expanded Two Beers Brewing facility. There they sling such beer-friendly bites as burgers and fish and chips, which on past occasions was made with a special amber-infused batter. Other eats have included Jive Espresso Stout gravy poutine and Boston brown cake made with SoDo Brown and Pumpkin Spice anglaise. Order said grub and a pint goes for $2—certainly a worthy reason to skip out on work and head there between now and 8pm.

Another reason: Sweet Baby Jebus. That’s the cranberry-infused take on the Midnight Mass holiday ale TB made in collaboration with Beer Church. It was just tapped yesterday and is only available at the tasting room, but, caution the guys down in SoDo, not necessarily on a regular basis.
