Early this year, Thierry Rautureau suspended the late-night happy hour menu at his casual French bistro Luc.
But HH will return to the Madison valley restaurant starting June 5. This time the Chef in the Hat rolls out the discounts in the early evening, from 4:30 to 6pm Sunday through Thursday. Snacks are $5, as is a “mini cocktail.” HHers choose from three mini cocktails: a Lucatini (with St Germain and Lillet), Madhat’n (get it?), or the daily pick from the bartender.
These are the snacks on offer:
French fries, harissa aioli-smoked salmon tartine, herbed goat cheese
Braised beef short ribs, harissa jam, gribiche sauce
olive oil toasted baguette, tapenade, tomato jam, fromage blanc
Housemade lamb sausage, braised cabbage, columbia city bakery toast
asparagus, lemon confit dressing
Pate de Campagne, house pickle, whole grain mustard, toasted baguette
Pulled duck, blue cheese finger sandwich, citrus cucumber salad.
