5. Food controversy of the week: VegNews, a magazine clearly geared towards meat-free readers, is…full of meat! The San Fran pub got busted using real animal products in photos that were supposedly depicting meat substitutes.
Scott Heimendinger (also known as the Seattle Food Geek) lent scandal to scandal—while simultaneously pointing out that the scandal really wasn’t all that scandalous—with this tweet:
