High fives for ’Zaw—it’s always encouraging to see local businesses thrive in this shaky economic climate.

’Zaw Artistan Bake at Home Pizza, which currently has storefronts in Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, and Ballard, will open a fourth outpost at 1635 Queen Anne Ave North Saturday at 2pm.

As part of the opening the sustainable pie slingers (contenders in our recent Pizza Smackdown) are introducing two new pizzas: The Cookout, which co-founder Greg Waring tells me features free range, all natural chicken breast, Tillamook sharp cheddar, barbecue sauce, red and green onion, and mozzarella; and the Pig ’n Pear—freshly sliced prosciutto and pears, gorgonzola, and shredded mozzarella on a honey dijon, EVOO–painted crust.

Also on the docket are bimonthly seasonal pizzas and a monthly seasonal salad. Look for the pies (rhubarb patch and asparagus and bacon are the first up) starting in mid-April, and the salad at the end of the month.
