SeattleCrime.com reports that Caffe Vita owner and Via Tribunali founder Mike McConnell has been charged with assault, DUI, and a hit and run. But there appear to be conflicting accounts of what happened and the web site has not yet reached McConnell for comment. The hearing is scheduled for May 3.

McConnell’s lawyer seems to have been following McConnell in the car behind him when the incident took place, which is handy. I don’t really know what else to say. Check out the story, or this one on the CHS blog.
