Jay Kuehner of Sambar at Vessel Tonight

If you fancy yourself a Seattle cocktail connoisseur but haven’t yet sampled the delicate concoctions of bartender Jay Kuehner, here’s your chance to change that.
Tonight, Kuehner emerges from behind the bar at Sambar, the tiny drinkery behind Le Gourmand restaurant in Ballard, to guest bartend at downtown lounge Vessel.
Speaking of Vessel (I know I do a lot, but there’s a lot of great stuff going on there), the bar also has a new menu designed by prodigal chef Charles Bradfield, who left Vessel during the management snafu that happened there a year or so back. Think mini lamb burgers and pork rillete.
In other new menu news, I hear there are new options coming soon to The Saint and a new happy hour at sister spot Havana. I really love the look of Havana, I think I’ll be spending more time there in 2010.
