Until I saw this trailer, The Killing's third season comeback ranked right up there with "free compost bin" or "caffeine free Diet Coke" on my excite-o-meter. Until there was Peter Sarsgaard. Thank you, AMC, for hiring the film actor to play an unpredictable, blood-spattered death-row inmate. There may be a glut of psychopaths on network TV these days (see: The Following, Hannibal) but Sarsgaard, in his first regular TV role, might outcrazy them all.
