Nosh Pit got a jump-start on 2011 retrospectives by deeming tabletop water carafes the restaurant trend of the year. Busers with pitchers? “Très 2010.” Speaking of year’s end, Sauced stirred up considerable buzz reporting Vessel, the esteemed downtown cocktail lounge that shuttered in late 2010, would reopen in December on Olive Way and Seventh Avenue.

Meanwhile, in a review of spring 2012 fashion collections, What Where When revealed that, for their line the Row, the Olsen twins took as inspiration SAM’s recent Nick Cave exhibit.
