Lark
Raise a glass of scotch at chef John Sundstrom’s seasonal, local Lark. Wash down hors d’oeuvres, leek soup, and a lamb tasting (including haggis), with some whisky, and then sing along to live music of Burns-inspired songs. Reservations for Monday, January 27, at 6pm. 206-323-5275. $100 per person.
Palace Ballroom
Kilts, bagpipes, haggis, and Gaelic song will reportedly all be in attendance, along with a five-course meal and whisky pairings. Highland attire is encouraged. Reservations for Friday, January 24, at 6:30pm. 206-448-2001. $70 per person.
St. Andrews
Head over to this Scottish bar to watch a football match and sip scotch. While there won't be any special celebration that night, it's still in the spirit of Burns himself.
Macleod’s
Ballard’s own Scottish pub has an unrivaled selection of single-malt scotches—sample your way through the menu from under the picture of Burns at the back of the bar.
