New! Nike Store in University Village

The sports megastars have a new Seattle outpost, but it's not just about buying and selling; it's about running.

Seattle's second Nike store opened this week in University Village. This one is completely dedicated to running.

Sleek mannequins throughout the store sport futuristic-looking vests and hi-tech jackets; this spot offers an assortment of premium running, training, and sportswear products for rain or shine rains. Services include bra fitting and pant hemming along with fancy digital shoe-finding analysis.

Reclaimed bleachers make a cool wall treatment, as does a floor-to-ceiling running bib collection—you can be one of the gang and contribute yours.

Yeah, be part of the gang.

The Nike + Run Club meet at the new shop every Wednesday at 6:30 to traverse the area. Lockers are available next to an enlarged map of running routes and a chalkboard for community information.
