Last week was all about Seattle's private event spaces for groups of 30 or less. And as promised, here are some options for larger parties. From casual to classy, we got you covered with some pretty cool spots around the area to get your merry on.

The Casual

Ethan Stowell's eldest restaurant has family-style dining down. But the Belltown space also boasts a semi-private mezzanine level with event space for up to 35 guests. With loads of candles and dark wood walls, it is just as intimate and homey as the Italian-inspired menu.

This happening Ballard Ave bistro has assorted spaces for events. Choose between the terrace, which seats up to 40, or the lavishly appointed back bar, which seats up to 50 and can hold as many as 100. Dinner can be plated or served family-style. Make reservations online or call 206-453-5014.

The atrium at Bastille's Pike-Pine Mexican sibling can only be rented from Sunday to Thursday, so plan accordingly. You can seat up to 80 people in this space, which is decked out with cool stone booths and a mural. For more information, call 206-453-4216.

Steelhead Diner
This 50s-style diner meets seafood spot in Pike Place Market has a private dining room in the back that can seat up to 40 people. The dining room contains a long, dark-wood table and, naturally, photographs of fishermen mounted on the walls. Call 206-625-0129 to make your reservation.

Library Bistro
A unique spot downtown combines vintage charm—elegant furnishings including bookcases filled with knick-knacks and high-backed dark leather booths—with good food. Allow chef Chris Lobkovich to serve you and up to 90 guests with his French-inspired dishes, including grilled togarashi spot prawns and poached pears. For reservations, call 206-624-3646.

Ristorante Picolinos
This quaint Ballard restaurant is the definition of holiday, and has several rooms to choose from. The galleria seats up to 40 guests and includes a customized menu and interchangeable tables to accommodate the size of your party. Here, warm up next fireplace and sip on some hot chocolate…or a cocktail. Call 206-781-8000 to make your reservations.

With angular design brought to you by George Suyama, the Serafina sibling's Mediterranean mezzanine overlooks Lake Union and the Seattle skyline and seats up to 45 people. And it gets better–make your own menu with creations like goat cheese flatbread and polenta cakes. Prices for the mezzanine vary by the day of the week, so check out the website for details.

The Classy

Jaw dropping. Need we say more about the Olympic rooftop pavilion? |Image courtesy of Holly Robinson

If you can book it, the Olympic rooftop pavilion atop the new Hotel Ballard has vaulted ceilings, a 20-foot skylight, amazing views of the Sound and Mt. Rainier, and an outdoor fireplace on the patio—talk about swanky. You can seat up to 90 people for an event, and Stoneburner handles the food. The schedule is quickly filling up, so make your reservations by calling 206-695-2051.

Daniel’s Broiler: Bellevue
This classy downtown Bellevue steak and chops spot has revamped the cascade room, allowing more options for private events. Now, the room can be separated into four sections, seating up to 32 people. You can also rent the entire space for up to 130 guests. This area includes some floor-to-ceiling windows and leather seating. Call 425-990-6310 to make a reservation.

From the wine-cellar motif to the dark-wood square windows with sheer drapes, this warm downtown Italian space is a great place to have a larger party for up to 65. And if the room alone doesn’t sell you, the restaurant does complimentary menu customization (there's even a special holiday menu), background music, and candles to set the mood.  Make reservations by calling 206-428-2411.

Ray's Boathouse
This Ballard icon perched on the Puget Sound has a variety of options for private events. The Northwest Room, a private dining and catering space next door, is equipped with a slately fireplace and a canopied deck area. The restaurant also has options for social events in the boathouse and cafe. All meals feature fresh, seasonal ingredients, and the talentes of chef Wayne Johnson. To make a reservation, call 206-789-3770.
