After my last dog died, rather than get another one, I decided to volunteer at a local shelter to get my "dog fix." I managed to last two years without adopting by using the excuses of "no time," "loss of freedom," but that all changed the morning I came to the shelter and saw Frito. Not only was he the cutest thing I had ever seen, he was the sweetest, best behaved dog I had dealt with in two years. To top it off, he prances, literally prances like a show pony, when he brings a ball back to you. The picture attached is him napping on his favorite piece of furniture. You know, the one we said he was NEVER going to be allowed on.
