On May 15, 2018 over 2,000 guests gathered to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of YWCA’s Inspire Luncheon in King County. The event was held at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, which was also celebrating its 30th anniversary. Actor and activist Alfre Woodard joined YWCA in inspiring the large audience, who raised more than $929,000 in support of women and girls. Proceeds from the event help fund YWCA's programs in housing, health and safety, and economic advancement.
