The 4th annual Vital Voices Northwest fundraiser was held at MOHAI on October 8th. Vital Voices identifies and invests in extraordinary women leaders around the world. Actress activist Sally Field, rallied the crowd to raise more than $260,000. The gala co-chairs Lorna Kneeland and Eliza Shelden welcomed 250 of Seattle’s thought leaders including Microsoft’s Mary Snapp, Geekwire’s Jonathan Sposato, Nintendo’s Flip Morse, VVNW Council Co-Chairs Dr. Rosita Van Coevorden, Valerie Wassermann, and Tracy Webster, and VV network leaders, Victoria Kisyombe and Samar Khan.
