City Year Seattle/King County hosted its Ripples of Hope Gala on May 5 supporting the organization’s work in Seattle schools. AmeriCorps members provide full-time tutoring and mentoring to 4,600-plus students before, during, and after school--enhancing student learning and whole school achievement. Led by presenting sponsor, Russell Investments, City Year raised over $600,000 from businesses, foundations, and individuals across the community.
