On May 21, over 300 guests were treated to a night under the stars at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Champions of Hope gala, raising more than $350,000 for blood cancer research and patient services. This special event, held at the beautiful glass skybridge of the Washington State Convention Center, culminated in the exciting announcement of this year’s Man and Woman of the Year winners. Christen Heye and Troy Hodge, both blood cancer survivors, edged out nine fellow candidates to raise the most money and win their respective titles of Woman and Man of the Year.
