Jeffrey McCannon and Karen Saunders were awarded the title of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Washington/Alaska Chapter 2015 Man & Woman of the Year at the Champions of Hope Gala on Saturday, May 2. Along with 7 other candidates, they helped raise $225,000 to advance the LLS mission to provide access and cures for blood cancer patients, not someday but today.
