On December 6, the 39th annual Hutch Holiday Gala at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel raised gross proceeds of more than $8.6 million thanks to a $3 million challenge gift from Carl and Renée Behnke and the generous contributions of the 760 guests in attendance. Proceeds from the event will support solid tumor research programs at Fred Hutch. The Gala featured live and silent auctions, an elegant dinner, and musical entertainment with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.
