Over 700 people came together for Global Partnerships 11th Annual Business of Hope Luncheon October 8 at the Westin in Seattle. Featured speaker and Honduran hammock-weaver Florinda Salinas inspired everyone with her story; her entire family benefited from a loan, a solar lighting system, and services received from one of GP’s partners. Thanks to the support of generous sponsors and donors, including Coastal Transportation, Matthew G. Norton Co., Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Concur, Expeditors, JPMorgan Chase and McKinstry, the luncheon raised $630,000. All gifts help catalyze sustainable solutions to end poverty.
