On June 15, more than 7,000 fans came together at Safeco Field to support young people facing homelessness at United Way of King County’s All-Star Softball Classic. Microsoft, Raikes Foundation, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Seattle Mariners supported United Way in bringing 52 players and 40 companies together to raise awareness around the issue. Congratulations to coaches and Mariners Hall of Famers Dan Wilson and Jay Buhner for leading their teams and playing their hearts out for youth homelessness.
