The Burke Museum hosted its annual fundraising gala, Curators Dinner, on April 20. For years, the event was bursting at the seams, so planners decided to take it outside (under the cover of a deluxe tent). Three hundred guests enjoyed tours of the collections, a cocktail hour and silent auction among the dinosaurs, and a live auction featuring trips with Burke curators. The "Burke Outside” theme also highlighted the museum's educational outreach, traveling exhibits, and worldwide research.
