Item of the Moment: Elizabeth Roberts' La Veste

Well, fall fell, didn't it? After the eternal sunshine of September and even most of October, the season sits a bit like a cold wet blanket going, "How ya like me now?"
Eh, not so much. But then again, chilly and gray is how we roll here. Those who use it to their advantage—as in, make the most of layered dressing—definitely have the lead.
Which brings us to this vest by Elizabeth Roberts, the locally based, style-conscious jacket company that used to be called Wraphapillement.
Stretchy side panels make it an easy fit for over or under other layers, and with the same smart materials that make the rest of the line tech-savvy and scalable (as in up-scalable), La Veste comes in great colors and conforms to the female form.
You can see for yourself today, Thursday, October 25 at Canopy Blue, when Roberts and Dr. Julie Gralow team up for a Breast Cancer Awareness trunk show from 1:30 to 7:30.
20 percent of sales from this afternoon will go to WE-CAN, the Women's Empowerment Cancer Advocacy Network, part of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, UW Medicine, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
