Describe your style.
I’m a product of the 90s; I love 90s hip hop and street style. I love the grunge looks from the 90s, denim, flannel, leather. I also love floral dresses and printed rompers. Bell bottoms, dashikis, and afros. The boho hippie looks from the 70s. I would say I’m a mash up, I’m all over the place, I do what I want, and wear what I want. I’m bohemian and street.
Who is your favorite designer or style icon?
Oh man I don’t know if I have a favorite designer! Style Icons absolutely! Claire Sulmers of Fashion Bomb Daily, Solange Knowles, Rihanna, Kanye West, Pharrell, I could go on forever.
What are your favorite shops, places to people watch, or get inspiration in Seattle?
I love Bon Voyage vintage in Pioneer Square, and Indian Summer vintage on Capitol Hill is my absolute fave! Honestly I’ve become an online shopping person, unless it’s a local designer, or I find something cool at an art exhibit, or a festival, I have a hard time finding pieces that I’m into. Our shopping can be really limited so I troll the internet a lot.
I love people watching at the coffee shops, bars, and restaurants on Capitol Hill, and Pioneer Square. Definitely the museum, I’m into checking out the newest exhibits, and art installations, and there are always cool and interesting people at the museum. Oh of course Cal Anderson, Volunteer Park, and the farmers market on a sunny day.
In terms of inspiration… honestly I look to blogs, tumblr, and instagram for style inspiration. Tumblr and Instagram have made it really easy for us to troll cool pages and people for style inspo.
