Baleen, the previously online-only purveyors of handmade jewelry, will open its first brick-and-mortar store on Tuesday, October 20.

With this new Ballard location at 6418 20th Ave NW, designers Leah Lawrence and Bill Bartel establish a Seattle home for their jewelry line that is modern and unpretentious, handmade yet affordable.

In addition to the duo's bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings, the shelves and displays will also be stocked with a variety of gifts, lifestyle goods and accessories from some favorite designers and local merchants.
