We're in the home stretch of holiday shopping and gift wrapping, but in case you have a few (or if you're me and "a few" equals "most") lingering gifts to grab there are still several popup opportunities going on around town. Here's what's still going on:
Through December 24: Canal Market Popup in Portage Bay
Through December 24: Shop Small Holiday Market by American Express and Delta Airlines
Through December 31: Little Green House in Ballard
Adding in the three newest events below brings us to a total of 16 popups this season, which is sort of an unbelievable, amazing number that is truly indicative of our growing community of makers and supportive base of locally focused shoppers.
Next week we'll feature more gifts to love and sure-thing last-minute boutiques for finalizing your list. For now, mark your calendars for the three latest popups and check out our Holiday Gift Guide for even more inspiration.
Part two of the Capitol Hill shop's design showcase features handmade jewelry from Cosmic Twin, needful ceramic jewelry and housewares from the Pursuits of Happiness by April Brimer (check out her spotted tray in our gift guide), and a just-released line of hand-batched perfumes from Parfum Magnét.
WHEN: Tonight, December 18, from 7 to 10. Refreshments will be served.
Stop by Melrose Market (make a day of it, even) as Glasswing welcomes leather accessories from Rachel Ravitch and classic bags from Ferdinand's Co, plus ceramic wares from the Pursuits of Happiness (see above) and hand-thrown cups by Natasha Alphonse.
WHEN: All day on Saturday, December 20, from 11 to 8.
WHERE: Moorea Seal
While not technically a popup, Fresh Tangerine owner Kim Kogane is popping in to the Belltown boutique, bringing her latest line of minimalist jewelry and hanging out to chat and sip bubbles with shoppers all day. If there's a lady still lingering on your gift list, trust us that this will be the easiest, most crowd-pleasing shopping stop you can make.
WHEN: Stop by during opening hours on Saturday, December 20, from 11 to 7.
