The Dark Side
Paint it Black: Northwest Designers in NYC's Bunch Magazine
Looking for twee Portlandians and the wooly urban woodsmen archetype? Not here. This is a different side of style from Seattle, Portland, and B.C.
Earlier this year Bunch magazine commissioned local photographer Elizabeth Rudge and I to put together a shoot based on Northwest designers. I connected with almost twenty independent fashion brands in the Seattle-Portland-Vancouver sector (okay, and New York, too—I cheated and included the formerly Seattle-based Logan Neitzel) and put together this gothic take on regional style.
