Go See: Le 21eme at Totokaelo and at Koral

Say hi to (and maybe get your photo taken by) Adam Katz Sinding, the native son who's making it big in the street style and fashion photojournalism world.

Fashion photojournalist and blogger Adam Katz Sinding left Seattle for New York three years ago and took Le 21eme, his blog, with him.

Our loss has been the fashion planet's gain; the Tacoma native shoots the before, during, after, inside, and out of runway shows all over the world. But you know that because you're following him on Instagram. And you've seen his pictures on, and on the T Magazine blog, and W's site. And wherever else.

But if you'd like to say hi in person and talk about the difference between moving, cinematic images and static street corner ones, you have two opportunities to do so while he's in town over the holidays.

The Seattle chapter of FGI is bringing the photographer to Koral in Bellevue on Thursday night, December 19 from 5 to 9 for a networking event, and Totokaelo hosts him on Saturday, December 21 from 4 to 7 in the store, where a limited number of limited edition posters will be available to shoppers.

Will he take your photo? I wouldn't necessarily count on it; Katz Sinding, who is an old friend of mine (which is a nice way of saying he used to come with me to shoot events before he went big time), tells me he'll probably do some Instagramming, but he isn't necessarily planning on shooting too much.

But a Le 21eme-worthy outfit is worthy goal nonetheless.
