Inspiration Shoot: The Girls of Midsummer
Summer's last breath can feel like a long, drawn-out Sunday. Full of meloncholy, sure, but lots of gorgeous moments and memory-making color.
Seattle shooter Joanna Arruda and her team put together this inspiration shoot to capture the season's floral abundance—via the Skagit Valley-grown wonders of Floret's Erin Benzakein—and evoke the spirit of five real-life sisters as they prepare to wrap up the summer and separate again for the fall.
While it wasn't conceived as a wedding shoot per se, the images work especially well for those couples who see a casual beauty and a wealth of local blooms in their celebration future—and for those whose wedding parties include girls of a few different ages.
