Celebrated designer Oscar de la Renta came to Seattle on March 7 for an exclusive trunk show at the downtown Nordstrom—well, okay, the man himself didn't come to town, but his lovely spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection did. We were on hand to pore over the line during the afternoon event.

The details, fitted silhouettes, and bombastic bursts of color are quintessential Oscar, but the fresh finishing gave each piece a modern spring flare. And no one can say he's not on-trend: The bright palette, graphic florals, and black-and-whites are exactly what we're loving about the upcoming season.
