WHAT: Give yourself an evening off and make the hour-and-a-half trip up to the Hood Canal for spring spa treatments at the plush Alderbrook Resort and Spa. Choose two out of four treatment offerings designed to scrub away winter skin and usher in a glowing spring complexion. Options include an express skin refining glow, Clarisonic facial cleanse, petit facial exfoliation, or Clarisonic back cleanse.

Appointments are available both to hotel guests and relaxation seekers just passing through. Though after three hours of pampered bliss you might want to fall into a plush resort bed rather than strap on your seat belt again.
