The thing about love is that it's viral. It breeds more love. And the thing about weddings is that you can't plan and execute yours without wanting everyone around you to have a similarly beautiful celebration. And the thing about living in times like these, when social equality is catching up with reality, is that we are able to see really amazing things happen.

On Wednesday, September 19 from 6 to 9 Urban Light Studios is hosting a party and fundraiser for Washington United for Marriage, which is working to make marriage legal for same-sex couples in Washington state. 

Shindig Events and Duos Catering join the venue to provide food, drinks, and live entertainment, so if your wedding vendor plans in those categories aren't solid, consider this a working celebration. Tour the multi-room, funky Greenwood Ave space (pictured here), talk with vendors about their services and your event, and the effort to spread more love across our state.
