Kasala’s Sono queen platform bed, on sale for $399.

Locally owned and operated in its original location since 1987, Kasala Furniture turns 25 this year. To mark this quarter-century achievement, the colorful, contemporary shop marked everything down by at least 25 percent for the month of June.

In addition to the 25 percent savings—that applies to all items in all three main stores (Seattle, Bellevue, and Southcenter items have been marked further as part of a 25-part collection of deals. What’s more: Kasala’s Facebook page is ground-zero for a giveaway promotion; check it out to win one of 25 fun accessories.

Opportunities like these can be overwhelming, buy you needn’t go into a floor-plan tail-spin. We asked Kasala corporate manager Deborah Crump to share a few tips to make the most of the remaining days of deals.

Here’s what she says:

1. Kasala has never before offered 25 percent off everything in the store, so pay special attention to accessories, pillows, and Alessi tableware and accessories because those rarely go on sale.

2. Even though most people aren’t thinking about them now, people come screaming for dining chairs in the fall when they’re thinking about entertaining. Think ahead and pick up some of Kasala’s best-selling basic seating options (offered in a range of colors) for $99.

3. Be prepared: bring color palettes, floor sketches, awareness of spatial restrictions, paint swatches, fabric swatches, and whatever else you think might help the sales staff help you.

4. Don’t get discouraged if the item you have your heart set on is out of stock. Kasala lets you order the item at June’s exclusive price. The return policy remains as usual: full refunds are honored within 30 days.
