WHERE: 1927 Events

WHAT: A party, 1927 style. Bring your fedoras and your flapper dresses (or don’t, it’s all good) and celebrate the opening of downtown’s newest event space. As we reported last month, the good-time gurus (they also run Sole Repair on Capitol Hill) have been knocking stuff down and leaving other stuff up, all in an effort to coax a vintage/industrial vibe where chandeliers and salvaged wood go together like pearls and salted caramels.

WHEN: Friday, June 29; from 7 to 10 guests are invited to mix and mingle with cocktails and appetizers—from 1927 collaborators Feed Co Catering, aka esteemed chef Scott Staples and crew—while sizing up the space for future celebrations and events.

But whereas some new spots might find a three-hour hosted open house enough of a to-do, the folks at 1927 want you to stay until 2, dancing the night away with vintage vinyl.
