I didn’t make it to the H&M x Versace opening, did you? The cold snap had just snapped and my friend and I got cold feet, literally, so I decided to donate the money I might have spent on those red jeans to a homeless shelter.

But the truth is, I’m not passionate about Versace. If I was, no temperature or wind chill could’ve kept me from competitive-sport shopping. Still, I’m really really glad that the just-announced H&M x Marni collaboration is set to launch on March 8, 2012, when the mercury ought to indicate slightly more comfortable queue conditions.

Look-book images of the collection have not yet been released, and I have not yet confirmed that Seattle’s downtown H&M will get the collection (though I don’t know why we wouldn’t), but in the meantime here’s the gorgeous Consuelo Castiglioni talking about the team-up.
