As a key member of the leadership team at Turning Point Strategic Advisors, Julie is committed to helping businesses thrive by providing them with financial clarity, operational stability, and strategic guidance. As a graduate from the University of Washington with a Master’s in Public Accounting and a CPA, Julie’s primary focus is consulting with clients who are struggling with cash flow or profitability issues. She transforms companies by working directly with the CEO to review processes and procedures, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and improve efficiencies. She finds great purpose in her work and her ability to improve the wellbeing of other businesses in the community. 

Having joined Turning Point in 2011, it wasn’t long after her start before she received a cancer diagnosis while pregnant with her daughter. Battling the disease for a year, she remains grateful to CEO Alan Chaffee for the unwavering care and support she received as a new employee and during an extremely difficult time in her life. Now healthy and feeling determined as ever, Julie sets aside time to invest in her professional development by being an active member of Seattle’s Vistage group, and also serving on the Executive Committees of the ProVisors South Puget Sound Group and the Seattle Women’s Affinity Group. 

Julie is married with three kids, a 10-year-old daughter and twin 6-year-old boys. She and her family love spending time outdoors, camping and hiking in the summer, and snowboarding and skiing in the winter. She is also an avid ultra runner, reigniting her energy and gaining clarity in a natural and fluid environment- a purposeful juxtaposition to her professional setting.
