When I visited the Amazon Spheres, in September 2018, I was drawn to the enormous plant wall. You don’t see something of that scale with a lot of different species every day. At first I photographed the entire wall but that lost all the detail. So I shot a small section and let the colors, shapes, and contrast become the focus.
